Cruise
Hello Friends and Family!
Even though we have been saying we were not interested in gifts, we have been together for 17 years what do we really need, many people were still asking what they could get us and that's when someone suggested we do a honeymoon funding page, so here it is...
As many of you know we will be going on a trip of a lifetime as we head to Istanbul for 4 days, then a week cruise on the Royal Clipper, the largest sailing cruise ship in the word, before arriving into Athens for another 4 days before coming home.
The concept is very simple, we have already paid for our flights and the cruise, but there are still some exciting opportunities for you to help with the rest of our adventure. Like getting to and from the airports and cruise ports, hotel nights in Istanbul and Athens, exciting nightly dinners, massages, facials, excursions and day trips, to finally cocktails through out our trip. We do love our cocktails! Each of these are broken down below, you can pick one item like a single hotel night or a single cocktail to several nights or cocktails or mix things up and choose a hotel night, drinks, and dinner. The choices are endless only limited by your imagination.
The Honeymoon Trip -
We will depart LA and arrive into Istanbul on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 and we will check into The President Hotel, centrally located next to many of the amazing sights of Istanbul. After we rest up for a bit we will start exploring this wonderful city.
On Saturday, September 3, we will make our way to the cruise port where we will board The Royal Clipper, the worlds largest five masted sailing cruise ship. Even though it may be the largest sailing cruise ship, it is very small in comparison to our normal cruises we take, and only accommodating up to 227 guests. For a week, we will sail the Mediterranean stopping a small ports in both turkey and Greece, before making our way to Athens.
Once we arrive in Athens, we will check into the Athens Gate Hotel, we have stayed here before and it is ideally located between Temple of Olympian Zeus and the Acropolis with views of both from the roof top dining terrace. We will spend 4 days here catching up on sights and exploring new destinations before finally ending our trip and making our way home.
