Dustin and Lindsay would first like to express sincere appreciation to all of our many family members and friends who have helped us to be where we are today and are visiting our wedding website. Dustin and I grew up in very similar homes. We were both very blessed to have great parents. We have learned the importance of family and friends through our parents. I saw Dustin for the first time at church when I was six months pregnant, I never thought he would go for me. From that moment on I always had a crush on him. The first time Dustin saw me I was sitting in front of him at church on a Wednesday night. After he realized the guy that was sitting next to me wasn't my boyfriend he had a crush on me from that moment on. After having a few activities at church he got the guts up to ask me for my number. FINALLY!!! We went to Applebee's for our first date. Dustin was so nervous he couldn't eat. Well I was starving so what do I do? Of course I ate his chicken strips for him. That was how our wonderful journey began. After nine months of dating Dustin asked me to marry him. It was a romantic night on my back porch. We had been cooking out and roasting marshmallows. He then asked me if I would marry him. Of course I said YES!! We will have been engaged almost 11 months now. God has been good to both of us, and we will continue to have him be the center of our relationship.
Dustin and Lindsay will be married for time and all eternity on Saturday January 3, 2009. It will be held at our church, Broadway Baptist Church. We will be married by our preacher Bro. Eddie Bumpers. We love the lord and are so happy to begin our lives with the gospel as our foundation.
On January 4, 2009 we will be flying out of the Springfield Regional Airport at 11:00 a.m. We will arrive in Montego Bay in Jamaica at 5:00 p.m. We will be staying at Sandals Whitehouse. The resort is about 2 hours from the airport. We will be staying there for 7 nights. According to the Jamaica website the weather is suppose to be really nice. Their rainiest seasons is from June to October; so this is the best time to go. If you have any questions feel free to contact our travel agent. Dustin and I are so excited to begin the next stage of our lives together. We feel very blessed that we have so many family and friends that want to share this momentous occasion with us. For those of you that have asked about gift ideas, we would greatly appreciate any donations towards our honeymoon. Due to Lindsay having a home we already will have many things that are needed to start our life together; however we don't have the means to do everything we would like to do on our honeymoon.
