It all began the very first day of our junior year at Cal. I had just transferred from a small college in Sacramento, and Orlando was a seasoned Berkeleyite. Orlando swears that when he first laid eyes on me that morning in the huge lecture hall, he knew that I would be the one he would marry. Sigh!:) I didn't find this out for several more years however. Over the next few years we enjoyed hours of each others company due to the fact that our interests were almost identical. And, after being friends for years, we finally told each other our feelings one foggy night as he escorted me home from a Berkeley laboratory just a few weeks prior to graduation; needless to say the feelings were mutual. Since that time "we" have become three, and our love and admiration for eachother has become deep!
We will be joined together as a family in matrimony on Saturday, October 8, 2005 at 4:30 pm in the afternoon. Our wedding ceremony and reception will be held at the Lions Gate Hotel, General's Garden, at 3410 Westover Street, McClellan (Sacramento), CA.
Attire is cocktail, to black-tie, to come as you are!!!
We plan to integrate both of our backgrounds into something that represents our future as a new family through our menu, music, and decor selections. The other plan of course is to eat well (Orlando's favorite part) and dance the night away. We hope that each of you will join us in our happy celebration of our first hours as newlyweds.
