"Marriage is the joining of two people

Who share the promise

That only marriage can make –

To share the sunshine and the shadows,

And to experience a richer, more fulfilling life because of it.

Marriage is a promise of companionship,

Of having someone to share

All of life’s experiences.

Marriage does not promise that there will

Not be any rough times,

Just the assurance that there will

Always be someone

Who cares and will help you through

To better times.

Marriage does not promise eternal romance,

Just eternal love and commitment".

Josh & I met in 2005 at the Sadie Hawkins dance.  I was a sophomore in highschool and he was a junior! He was seriously the most funniest person ever.  We were friends first for a year, & then I developed a crush on him right before his highschool graduation! Little did I know he had a crush on me too! Highschool sweethearts! All these years later and he still makes me happy, laugh, & just feel good about myself just by showering me with his love! This man is my best friend, the future is looking so bright for us!

The day I got engaged I was so freaking happy & excited! One of the first things I thought about was how I was going to ask my best friends to be my bridesmaids! My bridesmaids are amazing! They are just as happy for me as I am! It makes me feel great! I ended up making a sign and taking a picture of me holding it asking them to be my bridesmaids! I left each of them individual notes to let them know how much their friendship means to me! Of course they all said yes with no hesitation! Let me introduce them!

Haley is my maid of honor.  She has been my best friend since 6th grade.  I first met her at the Reidland middle school softball tryouts.  She was the first person to befriend me and invite me over to her house! She is the most generous, giving, awesome person! Her personality is amazing! Always smiling, laughing, and worrying about others before herself. God was doing me a HUGE favor by bringing her into my life so early on.  I really appreciate her and our friendship! This girl is the sister my mom never had! Honestly!

Kaylyn and Sarah are my bridesmaids.  I group them together because I'm never with just one I'm always with both.  These girls are so loyal to me.  I know if I don't like something then they don't either! I love that about them! I have had 90% of the best memories of my life with them, seriously! Even though I didn't become this close with them until highschool I feel like I've been close with them all 23 years I've been alive, truthfully! They are always down for a good time, & when I'm stressed they are just who I want to text/call to laugh!  I love both of you so much!

Ashley, last but not least! She has seen me at my most stressful times! We tackled nursing school together! We clicked right away! It's crazy how were so much alike! We even have the same birthday! Lol! This girl is so smart & honest! She is so fun to hang out with! Such a phenomenal woman to look up to! Ashley literally took me right in & introduced me to her close group of friends without any question! I appreciate her for that because after living here for 2.5 years before nursing school I hadn't made good friends like I have now!

My bridal party is full of amazing women!

The wedding will be held at the Harrison St. Baptist Church in Paducah, KY. The wedding will begin at 6:30 pm.  The reception will be held following the ceremony at the Robert Cherry Civic Center Until 11:00 pm.
